Proctor School District ISD #704 is seeking candidates for a high school principal beginning July 1, 2025.
Licensure Required: Minnesota Secondary Principal Licensure
Qualifications:
Administrative experience at the secondary level preferred
Ability to plan, set goals, organize, and follow through
Knowledge of instruction
Evidence of a participatory style of management
Technology literate
Ability to delegate
Knowledge of curriculum and curriculum development
Knowledge of child growth and development
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Good decision-making skills
Self-starter, highly motivated
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Necessary Job Skills:
Open communication, honesty, sense of humor, ability to analyze situations quickly and accurately, stress tolerance, openness to change, stamina and energy, decisiveness, good judgment, ability to lead, sensitive, ethical
Job Goal:
Lead and manage either a 6-8 or 9-12 program; supervise licensed and non-licensed secondary staff. Further the vision, mission, and philosophy of the school district.
