Job Title: High School Math Teacher Location: Face to Face Academy &#8211; St. Paul, MN FTE: Full-time, Part-time Start Date: SY 2025-26 Summary: Face to Face Academy is accepting applications for a Licensed High School Math Teacher. Job Description: * Develop lesson plans and implement all aspects of mathematics instruction. Mathematical courses may include Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Financial Literacy. Leads the day-to-day instructional program by helping individual students with their assignments and learning programs. Assists in the development, coordination and implementation of interdisciplinary experiential learning opportunities for at-risk students. * Develop and implement all aspects of the mathematics curriculum. Align the curriculum with state and national standards. Integrates mathematics into the curriculum to assist special education students in daily courses. * Perform other duties of a comparable level or type, assist with day-to-day student issues and supervision, attend staff meetings, assist with the planning and conducting of special events and field trips, collaborate with other staff and maintain teamwork-style environment, and assist supervisory staff with tasks or projects, as requested. Preferred Qualifications A current license to teach 7-12 mathematics issued by the Minnesota Department of Education. Successful teaching experience or equivalent experience working with at-risk adolescents from diverse backgrounds. Candidates without licensure but with relevant coursework and willingness to pursue full licensure will also be considered.
