Summary:
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of restorative practices and enjoy building relationships with learners. Primary duty is to coordinate the Restorative Coaching Room (RCR), providing direct coaching, support, and reflective processing for students with unique behavioral and learning needs. This individual will foster a restorative environment that helps learners develop self-regulation skills, repair relationships, and successfully reintegrate into the classroom. Other duties may include data entry, running reports with the district’s student management system, supervising halls, cafeteria and other areas as needed or assigned, media center supervision and operational tasks, and other tasks assigned by building administration that may support the overall function of the school.
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
Supervise Structured Learning Center
Hall Monitor
Lunchroom Supervision
Media Center

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Experience working with children, work experience in educational setting preferred.
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and AA degree or 60 semester college credits or pass the para pro test.
* Six months experience working with children or six months of post secondary education in the areas of early childhood, speech pathology, education special education or other similar field of study may be substituted for experience,
