Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking Education Assistants for our Summer Kindergarten Connection program at West Elementary.
Kindergarten Connection is designed to help incoming kindergarteners be ready to start school in the fall. The salary range for this position is $18.07 per hour - $20.57 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include Sick Leave.
This program will run daily from 8:30am - 1:30pm on the dates listed below:
* July 14, 2025 - July 17, 2025
* July 21, 2025 - July 24, 2025
* July 28, 2025 - July 31, 2025
* August 5, 2025 - August 7, 2025
Required Qualifications (one of the following):
Candidates interested in the position but do not meet the required qualifications below are still encouraged to apply, as the district is committed to assisting with attaining the necessary credentials.
* Associates Degree
* 60 semester college credits
* Passing score on one of the state approved tests
West Elementary is located on the west side of Hutchinson and serves students pre-K through 1st grade. West is a unique building where we educate the Districts’ first learners – Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Graders.
