Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! A fast-growing school district located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Position Summary: The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher provides specialized instruction to children (birth to age five) with developmental delays or disabilities. This role involves assessing student needs, developing and implementing IEPs and IFSPs, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams. Using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate practices, the ECSE Teacher supports early learning and social-emotional growth in home, community, and school settings. This position follows a stretch calendar to accommodate summer referrals.

Compensation: Salary pursuant to the Waconia Education Association's Collective Bargaining Agreement starting at $41,146 to $91,608. Excellent benefits package that starts on day one of employment.
Requirements: An Early Childhood Special Education license issued by the Minnesota Professional Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) is required.
