Hutchinson Public Schools is looking for an Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Parent Educator for our 2025 Summer classes!
The Early Childhood Family Education Parent Educator is responsible for planing, coordinating, and teaching an instructional program that addresses the intellectual, emotional, cultural, social, and physical needs of both parents and children. Parent education seeks to support respectful, reciprocal interactions between parents and their children.
Work hours are from 9:00am - 12:00pm on the dates listed below:
* June 11, 2025
* June 18, 2025
* June 25, 2025
There will be prep time available each day bringing the total hours for this position to 13 hours. The salary range for this position is $31.89 per hour - $59.40 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include Sick Leave. Candidates should be appropriately licensed/certified through Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or contact the district for licensing options.
The ECFE program serves children from birth up to kindergarten enrollment and is located in West Elementary. West is a unique building where we educate the Districts’ first learners – ECFE, Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Graders. There is a wonderful energy in the building, and families love the West experience. We are excited to provide quality curriculum based on research, best practice, and state standards. West Elementary is a place you will want your child’s educational journey to begin. West offers small class sizes, enrichment, before school and summer programs, on-site media center, technology opportunities including iPads and Chromebooks, small group differentiated instruction in reading and math, Creative Curriculum (PreK), Music-Art-PE-STEM classes, and a family friendly atmosphere.
