Our agriculture program is a cornerstone of our commitment to practical, hands-on learning. Hancock Public School has an opening for a full-time 7-12 Agriculture teacher and co-FFA advisor beginning with the 2025-26 school year. Our District is currently seeking an exceptional, dynamic, and highly motivated individual who is passionate about teaching, energetic, and able to maintain our outstanding agricultural education program and award winning FFA program. The successful candidate will work with another full-time Ag teacher. Our programs highlight the career opportunities locally, regionally, and nationally for students in agriculture. Candidates must be self-directed and possess the desire, drive, and creativity to continue to develop our Ag program. The successful candidate will have outstanding support from a community whose economy is based on agriculture. The nature of the position possesses latitude for creativity and the prospect of developing an Ag program of the future. An extended day contract will be offered to the successful candidate. Hancock is a small, friendly community of approximately 800 residents located in West Central Minnesota. Hancock Public School is a financially sound district, and thanks to strong support and involvement from the community, and a committed staff, our student population continues to grow. A complete remodel of existing space and new addition was added to our K-12 facility in 2013 and again in 2019. The 2019 addition included new ag shop facilities. Coaching vacancies are anticipated. Willingness/ability to coach is not a priority in the hiring process. Salary: Negotiable.
