Supervisor of Position: Administrator/ Alternative Education Supervisor
Description: Saints Academy is a small Area Learning Center with only one teacher per content area. Class sizes are typically in the low to mid teens. The English Language Arts Teacher for Saints Academy will be asked to teach ELA courses across multiple disciplines/graduation requirements, as well as elective courses of their own design.
Qualifications: Must have one of the following licenses:
* English Language Arts 9-12
Summary of Duties:
* Strength in developing positive, trusting, relationships with students, families and staff.
* Provide engaging lessons with the use of hands on learning strategies, collaboration, and technology.
* Empower students with positive encouragement and supportive approaches to ensure growth.
* Differentiates curriculum to a wide range of learners in a smaller setting environment.
* Utilize a strength based approach with a "growth mindset" mentality.
* Shows commitment to stay current with best practices and professional development in ELA Education.
* Participate in school wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (individual and school wide acknowledgments and activities).
