This full-time position involves teaching two grades of each subject, along with an additional class or study hall as assigned by the principal. Position Responsibilities: * Teach middle school Language Arts and Social Studies (grades 5&#8211;8), following the school&#8217;s curriculum and Catholic educational philosophy * Maintain a respectful, inviting, and Christ-centered learning environment * Serve as a faith role model, encouraging Gospel values through instruction and example * Communicate consistently and professionally with students, families, and colleagues * Maintain accurate student records, grades, attendance, and other documentation * Participate in curriculum development and professional learning * Attend workshops, in-services, faculty meetings, and planning sessions * Adhere to school policies as outlined in the Faculty Handbook * Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal * Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities Qualifications: * Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Education or a related field (required) * Minnesota Teaching License (preferred) * Experience teaching in a middle school setting is a plus * Familiarity with integrating Catholic Social Teaching into curriculum * Ability to collaborate in a team setting and manage a classroom effectively * Strong communication and organizational skills * Proficiency with educational technology * Must pass a criminal background check Faith Expectations: While applicants do not need to be Catholic, they must be supportive of the mission of Catholic education and comfortable incorporating Catholic values into their teaching.
