This position will assist in reducing class sizes at both grade levels. The candidate should have the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. The candidate should have a strong literacy and numeracy background and be able to differentiate for each individual learner. An Arts integrated curriculum is used and candidates will be trained. * Meet and collaborate with classroom teachers and interventionists to discuss how to best meet the needs of the students on your caseload * Gather screening/diagnostic information through a variety of formats: FAST Benchmarking Assessments, FAST Progress Monitoring Assessments, Decoding Inventories, and structured literacy assessments * Participate in weekly PLC discussions * Create prescriptive lessons designed to support and grow students at and beyond their literacy levels * Adhere to science of reading, evidence based instruction * Create individualized student goals based on assessment data An appropriate license issued by the State of Minnesota is required.
