POSITION SUMMARY: Red Rock Central is looking for a full-time, energetic, and passionate Special Education Teacher. The Special Education Teacher is responsible for creating a program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with unique needs, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. Special education case management includes the preparation of IEPs, reports, assessments, and leading IEP team meetings. Professionalism, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach are essential when working with students receiving special education services to ensure their safety and growth and to help them understand and exhibit appropriate behaviors at school and in the community. LICENSURE: Special Education Licensure through MDE is required. Any special education licensure is encouraged to apply.
