Nicollet Public School is seeking a K-12 Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate will possess a valid Minnesota teaching license. Licensure in LD, EBD or ASD is needed.
We are seeking a candidate that demonstrates the ability, skills and training necessary to work with a broad array of students with disabilities. A willingness to work in a team environment to provide collaborative special education services with general education teachers is required. Applicants should be able to provide positive supervision to paraprofessionals.
Nicollet Public School is part of a PreK-12 school campus that includes an Early Childhood Center, Pre-school, K-6 (Elementary), and 7-12 Senior High (Secondary). Nicollet is an inviting community of 1,000 situated a short distance to Mankato, St. Peter and New Ulm.
Qualifications of Candidate:
-Hold a Minnesota teaching license in any special education areas. Multiple licensure preferred.
-Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
-Have strong organization and follow up abilities
-Desire to work with students and their families to produce positive results
