Status: Part Time to Full Time (60-100% FTE) Salaried - 10 month teaching position
Salary: $50,000-$65,000 (100% FTE) DOQ with competitive benefits package

Position Overview
The Mentor for an Upper Elementary Guide in training will be responsible for working with the guide in training to create and maintain an authentic Montessori learning environment and offer lessons and guidance to support the developmental needs of children according to Montessori training. The Mentor will be primarily responsible for giving the lessons and working with the guide in training to support the students with their follow on work. The Mentor will also support the guide in training with communication with families regarding their child’s holistic growth and development, with regular connections throughout the year and the two conferences annually.
Support the Guide in Training with the Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain a high quality Montessori learning environment for optimal growth and development
Guide and assess students through the AMI Elementary curriculum
Plan presentations for the children and keep accurate records of presentations, classroom observations, and notes for conferences
Communicate with colleagues, student support team, and Head of School as needed regarding children in the classroom
Support the school and its mission, vision, and values
Required Qualifications
AMI Elementary Diploma
