POSITION DETAILS Level: Elementary School Grade: K-6 Subject: Technology Start Date: 2025-2026 Full Time FTE: 1.0 ROLE OBJECTIVES The Technology Teacher at STRIDE Academy will empower students with the skills to navigate and succeed in a digital world. They will introduce concepts of computer science, digital literacy, and online safety, while fostering innovative thinking through coding, robotics, and multimedia projects. Their role is crucial in preparing students for the technological challenges and opportunities of the future, encouraging them to become creators, not just consumers, of digital content. KEY DUTIES Develop and deliver engaging lessons that comply with state standards and/or national standards. Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback. Incorporate technology and other educational tools to enhance learning experiences. Must have the ability to build positive working relationships with students, caretakers and staff. Must have the ability to calmly and effectively deal with a variety of unexpected circumstances. Communicate with classroom teachers to enhance projects and align with standards. REQUIREMENTS Educational Qualifications: BA Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of content, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage and inspire students, and proficiency in using educational technology.
