OneSchool Global is seeking a positive and caring Student Support Assistant / Special Needs Paraprofessional for our Minneapolis Campus (located in Lakeville)! The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students who have additional needs. Key Responsibilities: * Provide physical assistance, including lifts and transfers, to ensure the student's mobility and comfort. * Assist with feeding and other daily living activities. * Facilitate communication using the student's augmented device. * Teach English and Math curricula as developed by a certified teacher. * Collaborate with the local team to address the student's needs and support inclusive instruction. * Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and activities. * Foster a positive and supportive learning environment. Qualifications: Required: * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring. * Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the student's educational and personal development. Preferred: * Additional coursework in education and/or special education is an asset. * Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities. * Familiarity with augmented communication devices is preferred. Salary: This is a salaried position. Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, education and training.
