Total of 43 days (6 days in July, 10 days in August, 19 days in September, and 8 days in October)
Job Description:
This position is working with families and birth to three-year-old students with individual needs that meet criteria for special education. This position includes both evaluations and services provision for students on an IFSP. Services are primarily provided in the students’ home in one of our three member districts (Becker, Big Lake, and Monticello). The speech-language pathologist will collaborate with other service providers during the day to meet student needs.
License Requirement:
* Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Minnesota.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge and experience working with infants, toddlers, and families
* Knowledge and experience completing Part C and Part B assessments and due process
* Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education
* Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators
* Communicate and collaborate effectively
* Excellent attendance
* Position requires frequent travel within service area for home visits
* Knowledge and application of technology and assistive technology
* Skilled in adapting activities to the individual needs of students to facilitate learning and to assist in meeting individual learning goals
* Develop lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students, facilitate learning and meet individual learning goals
* Maintain confidentiality of information about students and families
* Experience working with diverse students and families
Salary Range: $241 - $493/day
