Position Type: K-8 Specialist Teacher - supporting Investigation work Start Date: Aug 1, 2025 Description: K-8 Specialist Teachers are responsible for developing and teaching content based on an agreed upon topic (Art, Music, PE/Health) and Minnesota academic standards. Specialist Teachers create and implement projects that connect to grade level Learning Investigations through collaboration with classroom teachers. Specialist Teachers are also responsible for creating a classroom environment that is conducive to a variety of learning styles, evaluating and assessing student performance, interpreting student progress, and informing parents and guardians of student strengths, weaknesses, and progress within the specialist classroom.
