Position Description

Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School (REAMS) is currently seeking an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher (1.0FTE) for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have the ability to create strong relationships, 

  • Collaborate with others,

  • Effectively work on a team,

  • Possess a broad understanding of technology as a tool for learning,

  • Use appropriate techniques for individual learning styles,

  • Utilize data to analyze student needs and assess progress,

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents/families,

  • Facilitate mandatory state testing, and

  • Collaborate with staff members.
