MVED Job Posting Physical Education/DAPE Teacher Minnesota Valley Education District (MVED) is looking for a licensed Physical Education/DAPE teacher to develop an understanding of the relationship between good body function and exercise, good social and emotional adjustment, and to develop strength, skills, agility, and coordination in physical activities. Position Title: Physical Education/DAPE Teacher Job Location: Minnesota Valley Education District, Saint Peter, MN Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year Salary and Benefits: Per Teacher Master Agreement Duties and Responsibilities 1. Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, and individual or team sports; using state standards. 2. Provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil, to the extent feasible. 3. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive environment. 4. Evaluates each pupil's growth in physical skills, knowledge, and contribution in sports. 5. Creates a safe and caring climate and culture in which we prepare, engage, educate, empower, and inspire all learners. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Demonstrates knowledge of resources, content, and pedagogy. 2. Understanding of differentiated instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles. 3. Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. 4.Experience working with students with disabilities and/or supporting social, emotional, and behavioral needs. 5. Demonstrate flexibility, responsiveness, and understanding or student needs. 6. Display strong behavior management skills. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 2. A current teaching license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). 3. Job Location: Minnesota Valley Education District, Saint Peter, MN
Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year
Salary and Benefits: Per Teacher Master Agreement

Duties and Responsibilities
