Special Education Paraprofessional - Extended School Year
Delano Schools is looking for a patient, caring, supportive person who can assist teachers in managing/monitoring student behaviors and provide assistance with academic work completion as well as functional skills.
Job Summary: The paraprofessional will provide support to students in the ESY program. The paraprofessional will report to a certified teacher for daily scheduling and planning support. The paraprofessional is expected to follow a schedule as written and implement all support and plans.
Program Dates: July 7th - July 31st, Monday through Thursday
Hours: 8:15am - 11:45am (3.5 hours per day)

Qualifications:
* At least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits if earned in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education; or
* An associate’s degree or higher; or
* A passing score on an approved, formal assessment (Paraeducator or ParaPro) demonstrating the knowledge and ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics or readiness for each.
