Pine City Public Schools is seeking a licensed School Nurse for Pre K - 12th grade students starting the 2025-2026 school year.
Licensed School Nurse or Licensed BSN with public health nurse registration and the ability to acquire School Nurse Licensure within 30 days.
Qualifications: Current Minnesota Licensed School Nurse License issued through PELSB.
Time Limitations: Present employees must apply within seven work days by May 12, 2025.
Summary: Participate in student evaluations, team planning, program implementation, and development of health and safety plans for students, delivery of student care and, provide input into the school district health policies and practices.
Salary: Salary is based on years of experience and education per the teacher contract, ranging from BA, Step 1 at $45,276, 802/yr to MA40, Step 15 at $84,035/yr, placement will vary depending on education and experience. Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current Minnesota RN licensure, public health certificate

b. Public health/community health and mental health nursing
c. Crisis intervention and emergency management, including CPR certification
d. Infectious disease
e. Special Education services
f. Ability to perform skilled nursing care such as catheterization, suctioning, gastrostomy tube feedings, insulin administration and nebulizer treatments, etc.
8. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
