St. Pascal Regional Catholic School, is seeking a dynamic and creative part-time educator to teach Spanish language and culture across all grade levels (PreK - 8th). The position offers a part-time commitment, with comprehensive Spanish language instruction spanning from PreK through 8th grade. Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of our teachers is to actively make progress toward excellent instruction that supports our mission. Our Ascension Catholic Academy competencies outline our expectations for instructional excellence and can be found here.

Teach all assigned subjects in accordance with the school's mission, principles, and curriculum.
Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the mission and purpose of the Church.
Participate in faculty meetings, learning teams, and professional development.
Implement new educational strategies and effectively manage the classroom.
Support the Catholic School Mission and Philosophy.
Adhere to the employee handbook.
Differentiate instruction, write objective-centered lesson plans, and maintain a positive atmosphere.
Exhibit competence in instructional methods and knowledge of subject matter.
Demonstrate good classroom management and a collegial atmosphere.

Salary Range: $36,300 - $85,000 annually
Starting salary is determined by the candidate's teaching experience and education level
Ascension Catholic Academy follows a structured step-and-lane salary schedule similar to public school. The final compensation package will be based on verified teaching experience and educational credentials,and part-time employment status.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Education or related field
Successful completion of background check
Knowledge of and commitment to Catholic School Mission and Philosophy
Demonstrated classroom management and age-appropriate teaching skills
Ability to differentiate instruction and create learning objectives for diverse learners
Proficiency in educational technology and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and collaborative skills with faculty, parents, and administrators
Active participation in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
Ability to maintain student confidentiality and demonstrate professional integrity
Dedication to professional growth and emerging educational practices
Experience developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work a part-time schedule including attendance at required school events (graduation, holiday programs, and other activities as determined by administration)
Sustained mobility to move throughout classroom and school environments for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks required in an educational setting
Full sensory capabilities including ability to speak clearly, see, hear, and respond effectively to students, staff, and administrators at all times
Ability to fulfill all commitments of the educational program throughout the school year
