The position supports a diverse group of high school students in taking academic risks and developing their understanding of social studies. Responsibilities include providing a broad range of instructional services or targeted learning programs to help students build the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for future success. Instruction is delivered using a variety of teaching methods tailored to different learning levels. This role is performed under the general supervision of the Principal, with occasional oversight of paraprofessionals or volunteers. Experience with or a background in Ethnic Studies pedagogy is preferred. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Special Requirements: Minnesota Teaching License Required.
