Ceramics Art Teacher – Grades 9-12 – St. Croix Preparatory Academy
St. Croix Prep is seeking a part-time, licensed ceramacist to instruct Upper School students in the art of ceramics.
Position is .40 - .60 FTE starting August 1, 2025. Compensation range is $17,771-$26,339 for .40 FTE/$26,657-$39,508 for .60 FTE; depending upon years of experience. Position is not eligible for benefits.
Required Qualifications:
* MN 5-12 or 7-12 Art Teaching License (willing to sponsor licensure for community expert in ceramics).
* Experience and background in ceramics.
* Ability to teach a wide range of art courses and a good understanding of art historical concepts, trends, and influences.
Experience with the following is encouraged but not required:
* A classical model of education or a liberal arts college education
* Paideia or Socratic Seminar/Discussion methods
* PLC groups/Q comp programming
* College preparatory rigor in high school classes
