New Century School District is an innovative STEM Public Charter School (PreK-12) located near the MN State Fairgrounds in St. Paul and a PreK-8 site in Bloomington (ie, Compass Academy). Our mission is to provide a high-quality education to nurture and inspire a community of learners through an innovative, holistic approach to education that embeds science and technology. Our vision is to create a STEM-based curriculum model that provides an education that is vibrant and alive, and acknowledges and maintains our students&#8217; backgrounds while preparing them for their lives as successful members of our diverse and technologically advancing society. The main responsibilities and job duties for the speech language pathologist position includes: Duties and Responsibilities * Teach students proper strategies for achieving more effective communication * Collaborate with the special education staff and general education teachers * Evaluate students with communication and speech concerns * Administer speech evaluation assessments to determine eligibility for speech and communication services * Develop and implement IEP plans for students with speech needs * Monitor student progress on their IEP communication goals * Complete Third-Party billing documents * Maintain contact and communication logs Qualifications: * Master's degree in speech-language pathology * Must have a valid state license or certification * Strong understanding of speech-related services Benefits: * Competitive compensation package * Dental, health, and vision insurance coverage * Generous paid time off * Professional development assistance Interested candidates must hold, or be able to obtain by date of hire, a valid Minnesota Teaching License.
