This role involves leading high-quality Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) programs that support both young children and their families. The Coordinator/Teacher will work closely with families, staff, and community members to ensure the program meets the needs of the community and complies with state requirements. License Requirement: Must have a valid Early Childhood Education license from the Minnesota Department of Education. Compensation: Hourly, depending on qualifications and experience ________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Instruction: * Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities for parents and children. * Develop play-based learning for children on non-parent days. * Create and use curriculum suitable for different age groups. * Observe and assess children&#8217;s growth; hold conferences with parents. * Support families with child development strategies and positive interactions. Classroom & Program Management: * Create a safe and engaging classroom environment. * Guide teaching assistants and support staff. * Work closely with the Parent Educator and other team members. * Help plan and evaluate the overall ECFE program. Child Screening & Support: * Conduct early childhood screenings. * Share screening results with parents and offer next steps when needed. Professional Responsibilities: * Attend training, meetings, and stay up-to-date on best practices. * Be reliable and maintain consistent attendance. * Perform other related duties as needed. Position Overview:
