Position: Title Director of Human Resources
Status: .75-1.0 FTE (Full-time status with benefits)
Reports To: Head of School

Position Summary: The Human Resources Director will work directly under the Head of School (HOS) in partnership with school administration to oversee the personnel affairs of the school in a wide variety of tasks including recruiting, training and development, coaching and labor law compliance.
Job Requirements: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. ● PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred. ● At least three years’ experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR. ● HRIS knowledge desired. ● Understanding and engagement with MN DOL standards and guidelines.
Spiritual Qualities: The person in this position shall possess characteristics that reflect: Acceptance without reservation of the Chapel Hill Academy Community Covenant and Statement of Faith ● Solid Biblical worldview ● Spiritually mature, actively involved in person faith development ● Follower of Jesus Christ; born-again/saved Christian

Stand or Sit – Stationary position - must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time ● Walk – Move, Traverse – must be able to regularly move about the office/classroom/school ● Use hands/ fingers to handle or feel – Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect – constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment ● Reach with hands and arms – Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect – occasionally required to reach overhead ● Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds.
