[image.png] Middle School Social Studies Teacher Job Description Twin Cities Academy (6-12) is seeking a full-time middle school social studies teacher for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. Qualifications Required: Bachelor&#8217;s degree, MN license or the ability to obtain a waiver (school will support a waiver for the best qualified person, if necessary). Preferred: Master's Degree, experience working in an urban educational environment. Experience with culturally responsive teaching practices and dedication to educational equity and inclusion in a college-preparatory program. Institution Description Twin Cities Academy is an urban, college preparatory, public charter school located in East Saint Paul, and serving students in grades 6-12. The school&#8217;s mission emphasizes academic rigor, leadership development, character building, and community engagement. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to attend a post-secondary institution. We have a history of success including being designated consistently as a "Reward" school by the Minnesota Department of Education. TCA started in 1999, and is a well established charter school, with a history of providing a quality secondary school education.
