This position is an integral member of the Student Success Team (SST), serving as SST Lead. The role of the SST is to collaborate with staff members to identify concerns within students and determine appropriate interventions to support their success. The candidate will further offer support to individual and small groups of students in the areas of executive functioning skills, behavior, math, and/or reading. Independently monitor the fidelity of intervention programming. * Facilitate restorative justice programs and conflict resolution, in concert with building administration, for Tier 1 behavioral incidences. * Provide updates to staff and the SST regarding progress of students towards intervention goals. * Maintain accurate records for student visitations, intervention plans, progress monitoring and dates of service for the purpose of providing effective student support and maintenance of grant. * Provide recommendations and instructional coaching for general educators providing interventions regarding curriculum selection, progress monitoring, and reporting. * Serve as the internal coach for Math Corps program at DIS, following all guidelines, requirements, and responsibilities of the Math Corps program.
