MTSS Coordinator (TOSA) &#8211; United South Central Schools United South Central Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Coordinator (Teacher on Special Assignment) to join our student-centered staff at USC Public Schools for the 2025&#8211;2026 school year. The USC district serves approximately 730 students in South Central Minnesota. Our single K-12 campus fosters a close-knit educational environment where collaboration, innovation, and a deep commitment to every learner define our work. We are looking for a dynamic educator who will lead the coordination and implementation of MTSS to ensure all students receive timely, targeted support that maximizes their academic and social-emotional growth. Qualifications: Valid Minnesota Teaching License Required for eligibility to serve in an instructional leadership and student support capacity. 3&#8211;5 Years of Successful Teaching Experience Demonstrated effectiveness in classroom instruction and a strong understanding of learner needs across tiers of support. Expertise in MTSS Frameworks, Intervention Systems, and Data-Driven Practices Experience coordinating Tier 1, 2, and 3 academic and behavioral supports, including tools such as progress monitoring systems, universal screeners, and PBIS frameworks. Strong Facilitation, Coaching, and Leadership Skills Ability to support professional learning, lead data conversations, and guide teams in designing and delivering effective interventions. Exceptional Communication and Collaboration Abilities Skilled in working across student support teams, staff, and administration to ensure equity, access, and instructional coherence. Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and lead a district-wide MTSS framework focused on the whole child&#8212;academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports. * Coordinate use of data to identify students in need of targeted interventions, and monitor progress over time. * Facilitate collaborative data meetings and support teacher teams in developing intervention strategies. * Support fidelity of implementation of research-based practices across tiers. * Provide professional development and job-embedded coaching for teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff. * Collaborate with school counselors, administrators, and specialists to align systems of support. * Assist in the implementation and refinement of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). * Partner with families and community agencies to strengthen wraparound support services.
