POSITION SUMMARY:
School-based Occupational Therapists (OTs) utilize meaningful activities (occupations) to assist children and youth in participating in educational activities essential for promoting physical and mental health and well-being. Employing a collaborative model, school-based occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory aspects of performance. OTs aim to support student growth in academics, play and leisure, social participation, self-care skills (Activities of Daily Living or ADLs), and transition/work skills. Their expertise includes analyzing and modifying activities and environments to reduce participation barriers. Occupational therapy in schools is delivered through a collaborative approach.
* 180-Day Contract
* Flexible Assignment based on the location of residence
* Competitive compensation based on on level of education and full years of licensed experience.. SALARY RANGE: $41,020 – $85,801/annually based on the 2024/25 master contract salary schedule (25/26 salary schedule to be determined).

* Current registration through National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT); current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Minnesota or ability to obtain
* Must possess a valid driver’s license
