Torah Academy, a growing private K-8 school serving the Orthodox Jewish community for over 80 years, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our dedicated team for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position will teach 7th and 8th grade Social Studies, covering World Geography, U.S. History, and Civics with a focus on critical thinking, engagement, and active citizenship. Ideal candidates will bring energy, creativity, and a student-centered approach to the classroom.
Position
* Part-time (0.5 FTE 12:15 – 4:15) Middle School Social Studies (7th and 8th grade) 4 sections.
* OR Full-time (Same Social Studies Sections – Additional duties TBD)

* Strong classroom management and communication skills
Role Responsibilities
As part of our team, teachers will:
* Curate materials and suggest resources for engaging lessons
* Implement formal and summative assessments to monitor student growth
* Maintain attendance, grades, and parent communications in a timely manner
* Embrace Torah Academy’s mission, respecting diverse cultural perspectives
Qualifications
* MN Teacher Licensure or Out-of-State License - Current or expired
