Genesis Classical Academy is looking for a Part-Time Physical Education Teacher to join our vision of educating and preparing tomorrow&#8217;s leaders and citizens. We are accepting applications for Physical Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning in the Fall. This position may be combined with other disciplines of health, math, computer science/IT, or sciences to create a FTE position. Coaching positions are also available. Experience &#8226; Two years of teaching experience preferred; however, exceptional candidates with expertise in Phy. Ed., youth athletics, and coaching may be considered. &#8226; Has demonstrated the ability to teach effectively and manage a classroom proficiently. &#8226; Coaching endorsement/experience desired &#8226; Exhibits a strong understanding of the physical education curriculum, core strength and endurance training Teaching Responsibilities: &#8226; Part-time position with potential for full-time (school year) &#8226; Proficiently teach core subjects and follow curriculum with fidelity &#8226; Classical approach to an endurance program including physical strength training targeting 5 core areas of fitness. &#8226; Effectively handle classroom management and involve administration in discipline plans while following school discipline guidelines &#8226; Produce weekly and annual teaching plans &#8226; Communicate effectively with students, peers, parents and administrators &#8226; Accurately use formal and informal assessment tools &#8226; Effectively follow grading protocols and updating grades on technology within timelines &#8226; Contribute to a positive working environment for colleagues and families &#8226; Routinely implement classical education strategies and methodology in the classroom.
