Part-Time Physical Therapist - Minnesota Valley Cooperative Center

Minnesota Valley Cooperative is seeking a part-time licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based services to students with disabilities across member districts for the 2025-2026 school year. This position involves traveling between school sites within the cooperative to support students' access to their educational environment through the development of mobility, motor, and functional skills. Services are delivered as part of a multidisciplinary team in alignment with students&#8217; Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Key Responsibilities: * Conduct assessments and evaluate students referred for physical therapy services. * Develop individualized physical therapy plans and contribute to IEP development. * Provide direct and consultative services in a variety of school settings. * Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines. * Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal setting related to physical development. * Travel between schools in member districts as required. Qualifications: * Current Minnesota Physical Therapist License (required) * Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred * Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education service models * Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Work Schedule: Part-time position aligned with the school calendar. Flexible scheduling based on student needs and district assignments. Salary/Benefits: The position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including FREE single health and long term disability insurance, plus generous contributions toward dental and life insurance. Additional benefits include TRA retirement, a 403(b) match program, and generous leave time. The salary range for a 1.0 FTE (based on qualifications and experience) is $41,837 to $80,788. Please note that this range is based on the current year's figures, as the 2025-2026 contract is yet to be finalized.
