This full-time role provides critical administrative support to the Special Education team by ensuring compliance with due process requirements, maintaining accurate student records, and coordinating essential communications and documentation. Who We Are At NDMA, we combine the structure of traditional education with Montessori-inspired, student-centered practices. Our classrooms foster independence, creativity, and whole-child development. We support a diverse range of learners in a collaborative setting that values equity, inclusivity, and strong partnerships among staff, families, and specialists. Key Responsibilities &#8226; Maintain and manage student data in SpEdForms and coordinate with the MARSS Coordinator to ensure accuracy across systems &#8226; Track and manage timelines for evaluations, annual IEPs, and re-evaluations to ensure due process compliance &#8226; Organize, archive, and process special education records&#8212;both digital and physical &#8226; Support third-party billing and ensure required documentation is completed and submitted &#8226; Coordinate and process tuition acknowledgements in accordance with established guidelines &#8226; Respond to record requests from agencies and schools in a timely, professional manner &#8226; Monitor Time & Effort and PARs Forms for compliance and accuracy &#8226; Collaborate with the Director of Special Education, Special Education Coordinator, and School Psychologist to ensure efficient operations Qualifications &#8226; Associate&#8217;s Degree or equivalent experience preferred &#8226; Familiarity with SpEdForms and JMC systems highly valued &#8226; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite &#8226; Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a high attention to detail &#8226; Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines &#8226; Excellent verbal and written communication skills &#8226; Strong sense of professionalism, discretion, and customer service &#8226; A growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement Salary & Benefits Hourly Range (dependent upon experience and education): $18/hour - $25/hour Benefits: health, dental, short-term disability (STD), life insurance, Public Employee Retirement Association (PERA), PTO/ESST To apply, send a letter of application and resume to: tara.erickson@newdiscoveries.org<mailto:tara.erickson@newdiscoveries.org>.
