Position Summary: Owatonna Middle School seeks a full-time 6th and 7th-grade English Teacher to join our team. This position will cover standard 6th and 7th grade ELA classes and a 6th grade elective class TBD. Position Requirements: - Valid MN teaching license 5-12 Communication Arts/Literature - Student-centered mindset that models a commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels. - Demonstrated use of research-based instructional & engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions. - Ability to integrate curriculum, creativity, and technology to design and facilitate a high-quality learning experience. - Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to achieve student learning results.
