As an integral member of our special education team, you will provide essential services to support students' communication skills, ensuring they have the tools necessary to succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. * Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments. * Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, focusing on improving articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills. * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals and integrate therapy into classroom activities. * Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Qualifications: * Master&#8217;s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program. * Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. * State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. * Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred. * Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA.
