The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for advancing the Academy&#8217;s mission through external marketing and internal communication. This is a full time, 12-month on-site position with benefits. Supervisory Relationship: Reports directly to the Director of Advancement. Duties and Responsibilities: &#8226; Provide graphic design, layout, copywriting, editorial and distribution support for school publications, both print and digital, including the Academy&#8217;s weekly E-bulletin communication. &#8226; Design, coordinate, and maintain all aspects of social media campaigns and electronic communications for various school efforts and serve as a liaison between the school and news media. &#8226; Conduct regular website maintenance/editing and perform SEO analytics. &#8226; Serve as photographer and videographer for the day-to-day activities and events at the Academy, and coordinate the production of videos and photographs for online use and publication in collateral materials. &#8226; Collaborate with other staff, directors, and consultants regularly in both content design and strategy implementation. &#8226; Ensure school brand and mission is evident in all outreach aspects, chiefly the Catholic, College Prep nature of the Academy. &#8226; Perform related projects as assigned. Desired Qualifications and Skills: &#8226; Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field(s) is required. &#8226; Demonstrated experience with photography and videography, including editing and final production &#8226; Experience working with external partners and agencies (i.e., mail houses, printers, Google, Facebook/Meta, Niche, etc). &#8226; Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. &#8226; Deep understanding and appreciation for the school&#8217;s brand, particularly it&#8217;s Catholic identity and dual presence in the Catholic school and Independent school marketplaces &#8226; Demonstrated proficiency in desktop publishing (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Premiere Pro, and PowerPoint), social media platforms, WordPress, and creative web-based media software.
