These are 1.0 FTE positions in our Federal Setting 3 DCD classrooms beginning August 25, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year. The licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students; collaborates with service providers and other staff; communicates regularly with parents/guardians; schedules students and paraprofessionals; and supervises paraprofessionals. This program includes courses in academics, independent living, and employement skills as well as opportunities to participate in community outings. Students in this program require supports with daily living tasks including feeding, bathrooming, mobility and medical needs. Qualifications: A MN Teaching License in Special Education, Developmental Delays is required. Compensation: Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $49,171, plus a district contribution toward health and dental insurance.
