The preschool teacher plans and provides the age appropriate lessons and activities to develop a child&#8217;s motor, emotional, social, and pre-kindergarten skills. Coordinate support staff and works with parents, specialists, and early childhood special education staff to provide a fun, safe and quality program for students of various needs. Essential Skills Required: * Ability to develop a rapport with children and explain concepts in a simple and understandable manner * Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district * Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning * Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families * Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred This postion is teaching a MWF AM and PM preschool classes (3 days/wk; 8hrs/day). Will have some T/Th for staff development and parent/teacher conferences during the year based on school calendar.
