Zumbrota-Mazeppa Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Grounds Keeper to join our team. This position is essential in maintaining the appearance and safety of our school grounds year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform regular lawn care and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and seasonal upkeep.
* Snow and ice removal from sidewalks, parking lots, and other areas during winter months.
* Maintain and operate groundskeeping equipment (mowers, snowblowers, trimmers, etc.).
* Conduct routine inspections of school grounds and report any issues.
* Assist with minor outdoor facility maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
* Experience with groundskeeping and lawn maintenance preferred.
* Ability to operate landscaping and snow removal equipment safely.
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
