Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and student-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Elementary Paraprofessional. This dual-role position involves supervising students during recessand providing support in the media center, helping to foster a safe, engaging, and organized environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with children, demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, and bring a posittive and collaborative attitude to the team.
Position Type: Part-Time
Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Reports To: Principal, Assistant Principal and Media Specialist (Librarian)
Qualifications:
* Required education and training: 2 years of college or meets the requirements of a "highly qualified" paraprofessional as defined in Federal law through the ParaPro or Paraeducator assessment
* Flexibility and the ability to work as a cooperative team member
* Regular, on-time attendance is required.
* Physical requirement: must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Stooping and bending required.
