These positions will teach a few self-contained EL language development classes in reading, writing and grammar. They will also be expected to assist upper-level EL students with vocabulary development in content areas, team teaching in Intermediate Algebra and Geometry. Qualifications: EL Licensure. Experience with SLIFE students. Licensure: State of Minnesota ESL licensed teacher. Alternatively, if you wish to pursue EL teaching with a different teaching license, an Out-of-Field permission will be requested on your behalf, or if you have obtained a Bachelor's Degree from a college or university and are interested in exploring teaching as a career, we are happy to discuss options to help you obtain a teaching license qualifying you to become a teacher and start a new rewarding career. Essential Function and Abilities: * Must have the ability to work as part of a team in planning and teaching, emphasizing differentiated instruction and effective use of assessments. * Must consistently use the Responsive Classroom approach, including conducting regular class meetings, supportive exchanges, and setting clear expectations. * Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education teams, and specialists to develop a positive learning environment. * Effectively collaborate and communicate with parents. * Support and adhere to School Board policies and procedures. * Be a positive and contributing member of our professional community.
