Located 20 minutes west of Lake Minnetonka and 50 minutes from downtown Minneapolis Lester Prairie is an ideal location to get the best of both the &#8220;city&#8221; and &#8220;rural&#8221; life. We have an enrollment of approximately 450 preK-12 students. Start Date: August 25, 2025 - 181 duty days Qualifications: Minnesota 5-12 Communication Arts/Literature or 7-12 English/Language Arts. Out of field licensure will be considered. Responsibilities: * Create lessons and learning environments that are appropriate for all students with varying level of skills. * Assess students&#8217; developmental, cognitive and social needs and provide developmentally appropriate instruction to meet those needs. * Establish developmentally appropriate instructional and behavioral expectations for students and share with students and families. * Regularly assess student learning by using multiple forms of assessment. * Maintain good communication and cooperation with staff and parents. * Fulfill responsibilities as defined by the current teachers working agreement. Lester Prairie School is seeking a 1.0 FTE High School English Teacher
