Available Position: Classroom Teacher – Jefferson Elementary
Job Description: This position provides regular curricular instruction in language arts, math, social studies, health, social emotional learning, and science. The successful candidate will carry out responsibilities as defined by the master contract, maintains high quality communication and cooperation with stakeholders, and believes that all students can attain high levels of learning. Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development. Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices, and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective. Possesses the knowledge and skills to build effective educational experiences that benefit all students. Takes responsibility for the learning of our students and his/her own performance.
Qualifications: Current Minnesota Elementary Teacher license to teach grades 1 – 4
Start Date: 2025-26 school year
Classification/Wage: Dependent on experience; starting wage $49,325.00 per year
