WHO WE ARE Sojourner Truth Academy (STA) is currently seeking a committed, passionate Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS) Reading and Math Interventionist who holds a belief in the ability of our scholars, to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This staff member will work alongside classroom teachers supporting our scholars' reading and math needs in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We are reviewing applicants now. POSITION SUMMARY * Plan and deliver high-quality, individualized math and literacy instruction based on scholars&#8217; needs. * Utilize and/or develop supplemental curricular resources to guide small group instruction. * Collect and analyze data to determine effectiveness of interventions and next steps based on student performance. * Participate in weekly meetings with grade-level staff. * Collaborate with STA staff including but not limited to classroom teachers, the Instructional Specialists, and other interventionists as needed. Academic/Instructional * Deliver high-quality, individualized mathematics and literacy instruction based on scholars&#8217; needs. * Utilize and/or develop supplemental curricular resources to guide small group instruction * Collect and analyze data to determine effectiveness of interventions and next steps based on student performance * Participate in weekly PLC meetings with grade-level staff * Collaborate with STA staff including but not limited to classroom teachers, the Instructional Specialists, and other interventionists as needed Organization/Planning * Work within established timelines to accurately and efficiently complete required duties, including data analysis, instructional planning, and reporting * Demonstrate computer competency in Google suite, email, and Internet * Utilize excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Reporting * Monitor scholar academic progress and personal growth toward stated objectives for instruction * Maintain individual scholar records, files and reports of academic progress through online reporting documents in a manner that preserves confidentiality TO APPLY 1.
