Position: Elementary School Teacher FTE: 1.0 FTE Annual Salary Range: $42,188-$56,422 Marine Village School – Mission Statement Marine Village School provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic success in a traditional yet dynamic setting. Students will be provided with passionate teachers, as well as the tools necessary to promote a love of learning, respect for our environment, a sense of wonder, and responsibility for our community. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or related field. * Must have a valid Minnesota teaching license or the ability to obtain a license in the assignment area and grade level prior to the start of the school year. Essential Functions: * Incorporate hands-on learning activities into daily instruction. * Communicate closely and encourage parental involvement regarding program goals, classroom activities, homework, school functions and student progress. * Collaborate with other teachers, or administrators regarding their teaching. * Participate in regular planning and staff development. * Participate in professional development deemed important to the school and/or to individual teachers.
