Special Education Teacher Position: Special Education Teacher (Full time 1.00 FTE) School: Parnassus Preparatory School Location: Maple Grove, MN When: August, 2025 Job Description: Parnassus Preparatory School is currently accepting applications for a full-time Special Education teacher (for the 2025-2026 school year). The ideal candidate would have experience teaching students with a variety of identified learning needs and the flexibility to adapt the general education curricula to meet the specific learning needs of students. A high importance is placed on effective partnering with general education teachers, parents, and the administration. Minimum Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field * An appropriate MN teaching license is required * Ability and willingness to teach the classical trivium and sequence model as defined by the school * The ability to speak and write clearly and effectively * Conviction in the values of a rigorous liberal arts education * Ability to maintain an orderly classroom Preferred Qualifications: * Teaching experience preferred but not required * An appropriate MN teaching license is preferred but not required * Tier 3 or 4 License preferred but not required Compensation: Pay range: $45,150 &#8211; $81,375 Benefits: Benefits: medical, dental, Life & ADD, vision, health savings account, 403b, teachers' retirement, public employees' retirement, short-term disability, long-term disability, critical illness, accident insurance, voluntary life and AD&D, NICE Healthcare, and pet insurance.
