Mora Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Paraprofessional for the 2025/2026 school year. This full-time position involves supporting teachers and students in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere and will work collaboratively with educators to enhance student success.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs, including those with disabilities.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as necessary.
- Help create a safe and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assist with classroom management and supervision during activities, including recess and lunch.
- Prepare instructional materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning community.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.
Pay Type
Hourly- $16.22-20.34
