The ideal candidate will be able to develop, implement and instruct developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences for children ages 3 to 5 years. The candidate will be able to effectively manage a classroom and have a passion for working with young children. The candidate will demonstrate a warm and welcoming rapport with children and parents, have knowledge of child development, communicate effectively and professionally, and maintain confidentiality. Experience working with parents and their children, ages 3 to 5 years, is desired. Experience with Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD Assessment is preferred. Knowledge and/or experience with a Reggio-Inspired Approach to education is a plus.
